Import Images from Google Drive to TurtlePic: A Step-by-Step Guide

In event photography, efficiently importing images is essential for photographers, organizers and individuals to streamline their workflow. TurtlePic simplifies this process by allowing users to import images directly from Google Drive. Here’s a detailed guide on how to import images from Google Drive using TurtlePic:

Step 1: Log in to Your TurtlePic Account

1.1. Visit the TurtlePic website and log in to your account using your credentials.

1.2. Once logged in, you will be directed to your dashboard where you can manage your events and client information.

Step 2: Access the Desired Event

2.1. Navigate to the event for which you want to import images.

2.2. Click on the event name to access its details.

Step 3: Navigate to the Upload Pictures Tab

3.1. Within the event details, locate the “Upload Pictures” tab.

3.2. Click on the tab to proceed to the image upload section.

Step 4: Select the Google Drive Option

4.1. In the image upload section, look for the option to import images from Google Drive Upload.

4.2. Click on the Google Drive option to select it as your preferred import method.

Step 5: Paste the Google Drive Link

5.1. Ensure that you have the shared folder link from Google Drive containing the images you wish to import.

5.2. Copy the shared folder link from Google Drive.

5.3. Paste the copied link into the designated area on TurtlePic’s dashboard.

Step 6: Verify Link and Upload

6.1. After pasting the Google Drive link, verify that it is correct and point to the shared folder containing the images.

6.2. Click on upload in order to import images from Google Drive

  1. Only shared folder links from Google Drive are supported for import.
  2. Ensure that the Google Drive folder selected for import is not empty and has public share access enabled.
  3. Please note that due to the data transfer from an external source, this process may take longer than usual.
