1. Types of Users and Data Collection
TurtlePic caters to three types of users: Agency Users, Individual Users, and Guests.
Agency and Individual Users:
Agency and Individual users are required to provide their email ID and name during the registration process. Additionally, they have the option to enhance their branding by optionally sharing their company’s social media URLs and phone numbers.
Guest Users:
For Guest Users, the data collection is at the discretion of the event host. The event host may choose to collect various fields such as Name, Email, Phone Number, City, State, Occupation, and/or WhatsApp Number.
Automatically, we capture country and state codes based on the user’s location, serving the purpose of providing geographical analytics to the event host when creating a gallery.
2. Privacy Controls
To ensure the privacy of users’ photos, TurtlePic provides various options:
Users can enable/disable downloads.
Restrict gallery access for viewers to only view their photos.
Implement right-click protection.
The Face Recognition Privacy Control is an additional feature that limits user access to view only their photos, determined by the selfie they capture.
3. Branding for Agency Users
Agency Users, which include photographers, event organizers, and corporates, can enhance their branding by sharing optional details such as company logo, company name, social media handles, website link, and phone number.
4. Analytics
TurtlePic tracks and provides insights to the event host:
Number of people who viewed the gallery.
Number of selfie searches performed.
Geographical insights by capturing the country and state from which a user is accessing TurtlePic.
This data is crucial for event hosts to understand the impressions their galleries have generated over a certain period.
5. Security Measures
To ensure the security of user data:
TurtlePic implements an OTP-based login.
Various privacy controls are in place to empower event hosts with maximum control over their data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
User data is retained until the user initiates the delete operation or requests the company to do so. Deletion requests are accepted via email.
7. Updates to Privacy Policy
The privacy policy may be subject to change based on new features. Users are encouraged to visit the Privacy Policy page regularly to stay informed about the latest applicable terms. The policy is subject to change without prior notice.
