Planning a destination wedding
A destination wedding is really a short holiday with a wedding in it. Choose the place for your guests as much as for the photos: how they'll get there, where they'll sleep, and what they'll do between functions. Most couples plan two or three days, so guests aren't rushed. Book the venue and its rooms first, then send save-the-dates early so people can plan their travel.

It helps when you have many guests travelling or don't live near the venue. A planner can handle rooms, transfers and local vendors.
We check that each venue's website works and that it hosts weddings at that destination. We haven't visited them, so always see the venue, or a recent wedding there, before booking.
