Check when your photos are ready for face search
See your photos move from upload to face search, and know when guests can find themselves.

Before you start
- An event with photos uploading. See Upload and organise your photos.
Watch the upload panel
While photos upload, the panel at the bottom of your screen shows each stage: Upload, Previews and Faces, with how many photos are done and roughly how long is left.
Tip
Once the panel says Safe to close this tab, your photos have finished uploading. Face search carries on without you.
Look for “All photos are ready”
When every photo has been through all three stages, the panel says All … photos are ready. Guests can now find themselves in these photos.
Check your email
TurtlePic also emails you when a batch is ready: Your event photos are now ready for face search, with the number of photos processed.
On your phone
In the event’s upload screen, two rings show progress: Previews and Face search. When face search finishes, the folder shows Face search complete.
Publishing before everything is ready
You don’t have to wait. If you publish while photos are still processing, TurtlePic tells you how many are left, and each photo appears in the gallery as soon as it’s ready.
